A federal party leader visited Nanaimo yesterday.
Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre was down for a meet and greet at the Nanaimo Fish & Game Protective Association.
The event was from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. He arrived at around 4:30pm.
He spoke briefly about a recent Nanaimo incident that sent a man to the hospital, hoping that people will offer their prayers to the victim.
He also talked about gun control, problems with the ‘catch-and-release’ bail program, and Justin Trudeau.
