2nd Annual Nanaimo International Jazz Festival

Saturday, September 22nd, the Nan Go Grannies are hosting their 4th annual Giant Fabric & Yarn Sale! The sale features quilting fabric, clothing fabric, upholstery & an almost finished project section. They’ll also have a costume section, so you can get a head start on Halloween! It’s from 10am-2pm & free to attend, with sale proceeds to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers Campaign.

Sechelt: 3rd Annual ‘All About Flight’ Open House

The Sunshine Coast 858 Skookumchuk Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets present the 3rd annual ‘All About Flight’ open house!  Youth in the community are invited to learn about the Air Cadet Program, enjoy displays of planes & helicopters, static displays from the Cadets, and BCIT program counselors will be on hand to speak on their Aerospace programs! There’ll be free hot dogs & water, and a raffle for great prizes! It’s from 11am-2pm, it’s free to attend and everyone’s welcome.
