Sunshine Coast School District says the appointment of a new manager of information technology will help them hold true to their commitment, and dedication, towards increasing opportunities for both students and staff.
According to the district, Tarsem Nath will assume the role effective September 1, after being employed in several districts for the past two decades, including Surrey, Abbotsford, and Langley School Districts.
Nath says moving into this role on the coast will help build on his passions, but also allow him to expand his professional network.
“Blending education and technology is not only my responsibility, but it is also my passion,” he says. “I eagerly anticipate building connections with the team and the SD46 community.”
Superintendent Kate Kerr says the community is looking forward to Nath’s arrival and his experience.
“His vast experience, and leadership, in technology, paired with his dedication to education and technology resonates with our commitment to innovate solutions for staff and students,” she says.
