Work set to begin on Port Mellon Highway

Motorists are advised that some work is getting underway on the Port Mellon Highway.

A 4.5-kilometre section of the Highway will be repaired and resurfaced.

The work will also feature wider lanes.

It’s set to take place from early June through to the end of August.

Drivers are asked to watch for crews working between the McNair Forest Service Road and South Twin Creek Bridge.

The speed limit, during construction, will be reduced to 30 kilometres per hour.
