Over 840 people on the Sunshine Coast will lose power intermittently during the next two weeks.
According to BC Hydro, these are all planned outages to allow crews to perform work on their equipment, including replacing poles.
The outages will affect several spots in Powell River and Sechelt, with Sechelt having the most outages with 686.
For Powell River, 158 outages will take place.
Hydro adds these outages won’t be every day, with some ranging between 2 hours to 4 hours long.

They are scheduled between May 13 and 23.
