A Go Fund Me page honouring Ethiopian Airlines crash victim Micah Messent will serve as an ongoing tribute to the young man’s memory.
The page notes the funds raised will be dispersed into Messent’s areas of passion which include Environmental Initiatives and Indigenous Youth Education.
The 23-year-old Courtenay resident and former VIU student was among the 157 people killed after the Boeing 737 plane they were in crashed shortly after take-off on March tenth.
The plane was en route to the fourth United Nations Assembly of the Environment in Nairobi, Kenya.
