Temporary use permits of non-medical cannabis stores up for discussion in Sechelt

Four different non-medical cannabis shops in Sechelt want to stay open until they can figure things out with the Province and obtain a retail licence.

In order for the shops to stay open, they have to obtain a temporary use permit from the District of Sechelt.

“The Sechelt Council will look to make that decision at our regular council meeting this week and then addition consultation will be done,” said Community Planner Angela Lettman.

The shops that are applying for the permits include Weed, the 420 Hemp shop, Sunshine Extracts and Concentrates and WeeMedical.
