Pipeline disagreement simmers

As the provincial NDP dig in their heels around the pipeline issue the sanctions against B.C. are piling up.
First, the premier of Alberta cancelled talks with B.C. over the purchase of electricity and then announced a boycott on the sale of B.C. wine in her province.

Then, this past week, the Federal government abruptly postponed a scheduled joint news conference on a child-care funding agreement.

Warnke says, on top of everything else, the Horgan minority government’s tenuous grip on power depends on keeping the Green party happy and the Greens don’t want to see the pipeline expansion project go ahead.
