It was a busy year for construction in Nanaimo.

The big projects included a 3.5 million dollar 38 unit condo development on Tulsa Road, a 3 and a half million dollar 50 unit rental building, and the 79 unit Nanaimo Memory Care facility, valued at 9 million dollars.
In the double digits, the Woodgrove Mall renovation was valued at 12 million dollars and the Nanaimo Travellors Lodge, a 130 bed care facility, valued at 17 million dollars.
