Camping supplies stolen

Thieves have walked off with 15 hundred dollars worth of camping gear and supplies from the Boy Scout Hut on Comox Road in Nanaimo.
RCMP say it appears the main door may have been left unlocked and thieves, using bolt cutters removed padlocks to individual lockers and the storeroom, where the camping supplies were stored.

Police say the thieves made off with 4 green Northern Escape tents marked with “1st Nanaimo”, a Cuisinart 8 piece stacking pot set in a cloth carrying bag , a black backpack with a first aid kit and a black plastic toolbox with a red handle.
