It’s been a month since the Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce started a petition to send a message to the dysfunctional City Council.
President Kim Smythe says more than 300 people have signed the petition called “Fix Nanaimo City Council Now“.
Smythe says they’re seeing some indications things are improving, and a long-awaited core review is finally moving ahead, but council still has a long way to go.
He’ll be speaking to council and presenting the petition in the next few weeks,
