Nanaimo RCMP looking for two suspects for stolen pin pad machine

A stolen pin pad has RCMP asking for help in locating two suspects.

On July 12, a business in the 100 block of Calder Road in Nanaimo reported a pin entry device had been stolen.

Police say they reviewed security footage and found it was a joint operation between a man and a woman.

The video showed the man unplugging the device, placing it in the woman’s bag before they both leave the building together.

The man is described to have dark brown hair, trimmed sideburns, a beard, and large tattoos on his left forearm and left shin.

He wore black hiking boots, knee-length grey shorts, and a khaki coloured “Tentree” t-shirt.

The woman had shoulder length black hair, wearing a knee-length black dress, black sandals, and painted fingernails and toenails.

Anyone who may have witnessed the theft or has information about the suspects is asked to contact Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
