Nanaimo RCMP is looking for help in finding a missing man.
Police say on Friday, 68-year-old Gerald Rupp told a family member that he wasn’t feeling well and was going to take a nap.
On that same afternoon, his brother-in-law came to check up on him only to not find him, leading to officers launching their investigation. Rupp’s keys, wallet, and phone have been accounted for.
He is described as a Caucasian man, standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 245 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Along with officers, Nanaimo Search and Rescue are also looking for him, having started a ground search of the Cable Bay area in Cedar.
Officers ask you to call 911 if you see him, and if you have information on his whereabouts, call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
