With Earth Day on the way, the city of Nanaimo will be holding a celebration event this Saturday.
The city says they are holding this event as a way to celebrate local with the Regional District of Nanaimo’s Drinking Water and Watershed Protection Program and community partners.
This event will include artisans and local plant sale, an interactive workshop, information booths, a native plant walk and talk, shared water and water protection programs, and free presentations.
They say admission is free and that the event will take place at Bowen Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
