Stage one water restrictions are now in effect for the District of Sechelt, and city staff says it’s to promote conservation and ensure supply can meet demand.
According to the district, residential watering will be allowed depending on your address and even number houses will be allowed to water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while odd number houses will be open on opposing days.

The district adds, fines for those people who fail to follow the set guidelines can face up to $250 in fines.
