UPDATE May 15 – 10:31 am: Police say Parkinson has been found. Their update reads, “Sunshine Coast RCMP is pleased to confirm that the Sechelt male reported missing on May 13, 2023, has been located, and he is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance.”Â
Sunshine Coast RCMP are looking for help in the search for a missing 26-year-old man.
John Parkinson left his home in Sechelt on Saturday at around 1 pm. He has high-functioning autism and is a frequent user of transit, familiar with the Sunshine Coast and Burnaby transit systems.
He’s described as 5-foot-7 of heavy build, with long (mid back) naturally red hair and a long red beard. He was last seen wearing black pants, black snow boots, and a light t-shirt.
