More and more electric bikes are using BC trails and that’s why the province is implementing a new policy for e-bikes.
Under the new policy, Class 1 e-bikes can ride on any provincial trail where mountain biking and other cycling is already allowed.
Class 2 and 3 e-bikes are more limited and can only go on trails already designed for motorized vehicles.
The new policy is now in effect.
