The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is investigating a homicide involving a 79-year-old man, who was found dead in his Sunshine Coast home recently.
On August 21, emergency responders found 79-year-old Max Fischer had suspicious injuries and his death was deemed a homicide.
The IHIT investigation team is working alongside the Sunshine Coast RCMP and the BC Coroners Service to learn more about exactly what happened.
The next day, 54-year-old Karin Fischer, Max’s wife, was charged with second-degree murder.
