Tracy Samra is no longer with the City of Nanaimo.
City Council and the Mayor released a brief statement saying the CAO is no longer employed by the City and said the City will not be making any further statements on the matter.
Samra was on paid leave following her arrest for allegedly uttering threats at City Hall in January.
Samra was hired by the City in March of 2016 with much objection from Mayor Bill McKay.
