The BC Coroners Service is confirming a 63 year-old man involved in a boating accident on Westwood Lake has died in hospital.
It happened around 3pm, Tuesday.
The man was airlifted to Victoria General Hospital shortly after being pulled unconscious from the water. A second man was taken to NRGH.
It’s unclear at this point if either of the men was wearing a life jacket.
The Coroners Service is now taking the lead in the investigation.  No names have been released.
