Gabriola RCMP lay new charges against convicted break-in artist

RCMP on Gabriola Island say they’ve laid new charges against a man who’s already served time for string of break-ins at summer homes.

38 year old Christopher David Michael was released last November after serving 9 months for thefts between November of 2012 and May of 2013.

He was also ordered not to set foot on Gabriola for a year.

RCMP say with the help of forensic evidence they’ve now charged Michael with 2 B&E’s that happened in January of 2013.

He was arrested last week in Campbell River, and appears today in Nanaimo Provincial Court.
