The Sunshine Coast Natural History Society is asking the District of Sechelt to display some historic logs.
Tony Greenfield, President of the society says the logs were discovered at the Watermark building on the Trail Bay waterfront.
It is believed the logs represent some of the oldest preserved wood in British Columbia.
