Financial donations to the Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank in Nanaimo keep the lights on and the trucks on the road gathering food donations.
Peter Sinclair, executive director of the Food Bank says a drop in financial donations over the summer is a bit of a challenge for the organization.
He says the demand for food does drop off a bit over the summer…..
Over 3,000 people use the Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank in Nanaimo every month.
