A one hundred thousand dollar party is still looking for guests.
Karen Pedersen is the Nanaimo-Ladysmith Dry Grad volunteer coordinator and says so far around 800 students have signed up …….
Pedersen says organizers of the 27th Dry Grad event expect one thousand students from the district to attend overall and firm numbers are always good to get.
There had been a shortage of volunteers for the event, but Pedersen says that crisis is over with hundreds of people stepping up.
She says a couple of volunteers are still needed to do some heavy lifting and some help with hair and make-up would be appreciated.
