You can have your say in the District of Sechelt budget today (Tues) during an E-Town Hall meeting.
It starts at 7 and anyone in the community who is interested can attend in person or District spokesperson Connie Jordison says you can go on-line to participate in the meeting….
To find that link, Jordison says there’s a budget icon on the District’s webpage that will walk participants to the meeting where council and the administration can be accessed……

In the meantime, the Sunshine Coast Regional District council will get an update on the budget process today (Tues).
CAO Janette Loveys will present and discuss the 2016 SCRD Budget at the regular council meeting.
Round two of the budget deliberations for the District are set to go in early March.
The preliminary overall tax increase over the 2016 budget so far is point 8-1 per cent but Tina Perreault, SCRD Treasurer says the round one numbers are very preliminary and the final outcome will vary depending on each electoral area.
