2 suspects wanted after home invasion in Nanaimo

Nanaimo RCMP are investigating a home invasion atĀ an apartment at 300 Third St.

ItĀ happened around 1:30am on Thursday, Nov 5.

Two men forced their way into an apartment with a 25-year-old woman inside. After searching the apartment for several minutes, they took off. The woman was shaken by the incident but she wasn’t injured.

She called police and officers arrived within minutes but they couldn’t find the suspects.

The first suspect was white, 6 feet tall and in his mid-thirties. He was wearing a black hoodie, a red shirt and a ski mask partially covering his face. He has short, buzzed hair.

The second suspect was white, 5’10” and in his mid-thirties. He was wearing jeans and a baseball cap.

“While it is early in the investigation, officers involved have not found a connection between the victim and the two suspects, leading them to believe this may have been a case of the suspects simply going to the wrong address,” said Nanaimo RCMP Constable Gary O’Brien.
