Ferry service to Newscastle Island isn’t the only area transportation network operating under a question mark right now.
There’s also some travel uncertainty for people on the Sunshine Coast.
The only commercial bus service between Powell River and Vancouver has suspended operations on the Highway 101 route. The bus stopped running on Sunday.
Sechelt-based Malaspina Coach Lines says it doesn’t have buses available for the service right now, but it isn’t saying why.
The company says its charter and other operations are not affected.
