Sechelt Council has approved the 2015 budget, but that doesn’t mean the decision making is done.
The total budget is just under $25 million, but it’s still not clear which of the nearly 8 million dollars in capital projects will actually go ahead.
Mayor Bruce Milne says once staff have prepared full business cases, the projects can go to the necessary committee for endorsement. Then they’ll come back to Council for final approval.
Some of the projects likely to come forward soon are downtown road work and a new public works facility.
