The Liquified Natural Gas industry will be in the spotlight this week in Nanaimo as the Clark government’s latest “Regional LNG Energy Seminar” rolls into town.
The event, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre, is free and open to the public.
It will include interactive displays, panel discussions and demonstrations by Science World covering several aspects of the LNG industry.
Renata King of the Northern Development Initiative Trust says the second day includes a contractor-supplier boot camp.
King says if businesses wait until the LNG industry gets up and running, it will be too late. You can find out more, here.
