Iconic heavy metal pioneers Black Sabbath will reunite for the first time in twenty years to perform at an SRO farewell concert in their hometown of Birmingham, England, where the group formed in 1968.
Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will perform onstage together one final time. Osbourne will also perform many of his solo hits in his last solo performance.
“Back to the Beginning” begins on July 5th at 7:00 a.m. PDT. The day will also feature other metal superstar acts including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon, among other acts.
Black Sabbath announced in a June 18 video that “Back to the Beginning” will be available to watch via livestream.
Tickets to the livestream are available for $29.99 and include access to watch the entire live show beginning at 7:00 a.m. PDT on Saturday, July 5th.
A ticket also includes VOD access to rewatch the entire event for approximately 36 hours from shortly after the concert concludes on July 5th until 7:00 a.m.PDT on July 7th.
