An incident early Wednesday morning involving a trailer truck and another vehicle shut down the Nanaimo Parkway in both directions.
Nanaimo Fire Rescue says they attended the scene at the Intersection of Harewood Mines Rd and Nanaimo Pky around 6 am.
Drivers report police redirecting traffic at the Cedar Overpass back onto the Trans-Canada Highway.
According to Drive BC, a southbound detour is in place at Fifth St. and College Drive.
