Island Health is advising everyone, particularly seniors, to be extremely cautious when venturing outdoors.
Seniors are especially at risk of serious injuries from slips and falls.

Hasselback says if you do have an elderly neighbour, keep in mind they may have trouble cleaning their sidewalks and helping out would benefit everyone in your neighbourhood.
