NRGH smiles at donation campaign

A smile goes a long way, and the local Rock City Tim Horton’s will be donating money from their smile cookies to help support the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.

According to the NRGH, they are looking to raise over $50,000 through the campaign for a much-needed perinatal department at the hospital, by upgrading the electrical system in the operating room.

CEO Barney Ellis-Perry says the partnership is going to help many people and hopes everyone can come out and support this cause.

“We’re thrilled to be the partner recipient for the 2024 Smile Cookie campaign,” he says. “This is our sweetest campaign of the year, and I can’t wait to personally see everyone out getting their smile cookie to help our perinatal department at NRGH.”

The campaign is scheduled to start on Apr. 30 at 3:00 p.m. at Tim Horton’s Rock City location.
