A Gabriola Island man is in custody thanks to a joint effort by Gabriola and Nanaimo RCMP. Constable Gary O’Brien says the man allegedly used a stolen credit card at Mid Island Co-Op Gas Bar in Nanaimo on February 20.
The credit card was taken during a break and enter on Gabriola Island on February 19. O’Brien says it’s a great example of Gabriola and Nanaimo RCMP working together to get criminals off the streets.
The man has a court date in Nanaimo on March 11th.
