Statistics Canada will be visiting First Nations communities this month to collect data for this year’s census.
Assistant Director for the Census in BC Kwong Wong says First Nations communities will have to fill out the long form survey – which collects socio-economic information that will be used to assist the communities, their organizations and businesses, as well as the government.
Statistics Canada is also lookin for more first nations enumerators to help with the census on reserves.
