RDN seeks public input on Englishman River Regional Park plan

The Regional District of Nanaimo is asking residents for feedback on a draft management plan for Englishman River Regional Park.

The plan will guide how the park is protected, improved and managed over the next 20 years.

Residents can comment on the draft until Nov. 29, 2026.

An open house is scheduled for Nov. 14 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Errington War Memorial Hall. Residents can also complete an online survey.

“This is the second stage of public engagement. Community input from the first stage in April 2026 helped shape the draft plan,” the RDN said. “New feedback will help refine it to reflect community priorities while protecting this regionally significant conservation area.”

The survey and more information about the plan are available online.
