A popular Nanaimo restaurant and tourist attraction is on the market.
The Dinghy Dock Pub has been listed for sale for $4.8 million and includes the restaurant, the ferry to the restaurant, and a house on Protection Island.
In an email statement, the pub said, “The new owners would wish to maintain the pub and ferry business. It’s a well-loved local attraction that has been operating since 1989 and we hope it will continue for many years to come.”
The Dinghy Dock is unique as it is the only floating pub across Canada and comes with a ferry service to get to the pub from Downtown Nanaimo.
The accompanying house has four bedrooms and four bathrooms and is 2655 square feet.
The home was built in 1986 and the property was last sold in 2019, selling for $2.6 million.
