UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP locate missing 28-year-old safely

As of May 27 at 10:33 a.m., RCMP have located the missing person safely.

Nanaimo RCMP believe a missing 28-year-old may be either in the city or on Gabriola Island and is asking for help locating him. 

According to police, Duggan O’Hara missed an urgent medical appointment on Mar. 15, and because of that they say there’s reason to be concerned for his well-being.  

Police say O’Hara is described as a Caucasian man, approximately 6-foot 1 inch tall, 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
