The City of Parksville says they are ready to move into the second of three phases for their Transportation Master Plan.
Residents are being encouraged to attend an open house, participate in online surveys, and meetings to collect data to summarize findings that the city says will define the overall ambitions of the community to respond and identify challenges.
According to a media release, Parksville is considering options to respond to identified challenges with supporting current city objectives.
The city says the feedback from past engagement sessions were taken in and compiled together.
“The feedback from the session will help the transportation master plan team refine the options and prepare initial recommendations,” they say.
They say the second survey saw 700 completed responses which will be included in a report scheduled to be released in May.
