The District of Sechelt says traffic on Reef Road has been reduced to one lane after heavy rain has caused the road to erode.
Starting at 5 p.m. the district says they will close the road to all traffic between Marine Way and Little Scholars Daycare and anyone headed to Kinnikinnick Elementary, Sechelt Arena, Blue Ocean Golf Course, Fairway, Lookout, Gale and the Shores will need to re-route through West Sechelt.
The district is planning on starting work on Reef Road tomorrow, and the district has not said how long repairs will take.
