Nanaimo RCMP is on the lookout for 5 German Shepard puppies after a litter was stolen early in the morning on Monday.
The owner says that she and her family woke up in the middle of the night to multiple people running away with the puppies and fleeing in a dark-colored SUV.
Constable Gary O’brien with the RCMP confirmed that since the theft the owner of the puppies has received threats online and is concerned for her safety.
Anyone with information on the location of the puppies is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line.
