A 33 year-old Lower Mainland man is dead following a motorcycle accident on Highway 19 in the Nanoose Flats area.
Oceanside RCMP say it happened Sunday morning around 9am. They say the biker was riding south on the Island Highway when he apparently lost control and crashed. He was dead at the scene.
The man’s name is not being released because police are still trying to notify the family.
Central Island Traffic Services and the BC Coroners Service are handling the investigation.
