RCMP looking for man who exposed himself in Nanaimo

Nanaimo RCMP are looking for information about a man who exposed himself to a woman on Neyland Road on Thursday, February 27. The woman was walking from the bus stop behind the Rock City Plaza to her home when she noticed the driver of a passing car staring at her. Constable Gary O’Brien says she recognized the driver of the black car from the bus stop.

As she reached Neyland Road, she saw the same small car parked on the side of the road and the man was standing next to it. He was exposing himself and starting to walk towards her. She blew a whistle which she kept in her purse, ran the rest of the way home, and called police. The man did not follow her and he has not been seen since.

The suspect is believed to be a First Nations, in his 20s or early 30s. He had a moustache and wore a black hooded jacket with the hood up. If you have any information, please call Nanaimo RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
