Sunshine Coast RCMP say they’re going over security camera footage as they try to track down a man who attempted to rob staff at a drive through in Gibsons last Saturday.
It happened around 3am. The man walked up to the window, and when the staff told him they couldn’t serve him he pulled out a box-cutter and made some threatening remarks.
Staff shut and locked the window and called police, who did some patrols in the area but couldn’t find the suspect.
The man is described as middle-aged, Asian or First Nations, 5 foot 5 with a stocky build and short grey hair.
