A woman from Qualicum Beach was airlifted to hospital after a serious crash on Highway 19A.
It happened in Sunday, March 1 at 6:20 am on the highway near Yambury Road.
She was heading south when she lost control of her 2000 Honda Civic, crossed into the other lane and into the ditch.
The car continued for several hundred meters before hitting a hydro pole and rolling.
The woman was rushed to Qualicum Beach Airport and taken by air ambulance to Victoria General Hospital.

She is in hospital recovering from a fractured vertebrae in her neck.
Oceanside RCMP are still investigating.
