Some sections of French Creek will close for the next few weeks as crews perform tree clearing.
In a notice, the Regional District of Nanaimo says crews will clear trees and remove stumps as part of an ongoing project for the French Creek Pollution Control Centre.
The project focuses on expanding the Centre and upgrading its odour control.
Because of the work, certain areas are not open for the public to enter.
They ask you to obey the signs and directions from the on-site crew.
