The SCRD says they’ve started a community-wide effort to renovate the Hopkins Landing dock after it was closed last year.
According to the district, public engagement is needed to determine what improvements should be made to the structure before moving forward with the project.
In order to accommodate public engagement, the district says they’re holding an open house at the Gibsons and Area Community Centre on May 1 from 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. with the local contract for residents to voice their opinions.
