UPDATE: Missing 38-year-old believed to be in northern Vancouver Island 

Nanaimo RCMP are looking for public input on the disappearance of a 38-year-old woman who has not been heard from since yesterday.  

According to a media release, Georgia Schell, went missing on June 26 and is believed to be in northern Vancouver Island after police received reports of seeing Schell in the Comox and Sayward area.  

Police say they were alerted to her disappearance after a rented grey 2006 Acura MDX with BC plates #TH074S failed to show up for its return date of June 24.

Police say they have been informed she has engaged in erratic behavior for the past few days and are worried about her safety.   

Nanaimo RCMP say Schell is Caucasian, 5 ft 4 with a thin build and dark hair.

Police say if anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Schell to contact the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line. 

UPDATE: Nanaimo RCMP have located the Schell.
