Nanaimo RCMP hoping clerk's cell phone pic leads them to cell phone thief

Nanaimo RCMP are looking for a man who stole a cell phone from a shop at the Woodgrove Centre, and tried to steal another from a different store.
It happened Sunday.
Around 11am the man took a Samsung S4 valued at $700, from Best Buy.  Later in the day the same suspect turned up at Bell Mobility, also at Woodgrove, and tried to take a phone.  A clerk recognized him as the person who stole a phone from the store back in April and managed to take a photo of him.Police say they think the man is First Nations and he’s described as tall and slim, in his early twenties, with short dark hair.
Nanaimo RCMP are asking anyone with information to call Constable Brett Squire at 250-754-2345, or get in touch with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com
