Sunshine Coast RCMP reporting more bad behaviour on the roads

A couple of troubling incidents involving people trying to get away from police.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say on Canada Day they tried to pull over a vehicle that was doing double to limit on Highway 101 in Sechelt.  The driver kept going for several blocks before finally pulling over.
The driver was given a 24 hour suspension for impaired driving, and a 90 day suspension for excessive speeding.  The vehicle was impounded.
The other incident happened July 2.
During a Counter Attack road block near Monkey Tree Lane in Sechelt, RCMP spotted a man under suspension driving along the highway.  The man seemed at first to be slowing down and pulling over for the check, but then sped off.
There’s now an arrest warrant out for the man.
The next day RCMP were also set up near Monkey Tree Lane, and had a report someone had pulled over suddenly before getting to the roadblock.
Officers found the car at the roadside and noticed three people walking away.  The one who’d been driving the car turned out to be both impaired and under suspension.  He was arrested and the vehicle was impounded
